Defense Minister Yen Ming today went to Mount Five Finger Military Demonstration Cemetery to understand park maintenance and service status.He also paid tribute to Military Memorial tablet of the martyrs with incense and bow to express commemorate and respect.

In addition, Minister Yen also listened to Military Demonstration Cemetery Management Group report about performance status of Spring Worship Ceremony, preparation of Tomb Sweeping Day and annual important events planning presentations.He encouraged soldiers to carefully maintain park and praised them for hard service work.

Minister Yen affirmed the unit to operate in coordination with New Taipei City Department of Cultural Affairs to enhance artistic demeanor and to reduce stereotype of people on the cemetery, by presenting 30 photos of cemetery landscape around the world at Military Loyal Hall Lane.Currently with Luodong Department of a forest warden organized tree planting activity, environment afforesting, and creating quality parks.During Tomb Sweeping Day, also coordinated with Taipei City Public Transportation Office to reinforce shuttle bus to relieve sweeping traffic.Meanwhile, there were ginger tea and water prepared on the reception desk, lounge and Military Loyal Hall for dispelling cold of public and other caring services.

At the end, Minister Yen encouraged management group colleagues with positive attitude to serve people, to refine cemetery management for comforting the souls of martyrs.
